New 8-K Rules May Affect You

Effective August 24th, the SEC will be requiring public companies to disclose more information faster than ever before. As a reaction to the Sarbanes-Oxley requirement for disclosure on a “rapid and current basis”, new events are being added to the 8K filing requirements, and the time frame for releasing an 8-K is down to four days. In other words, it’s time to get your reporting act together!
